I create experiences, services, and products centered around user needs through UX design and research methodologies; I am a curious mind and a problem solver, constantly creating and innovating to find out ways I can help make your offerings better for your users.
Human behavior was my passion from the very beginning when I decided to major in Psychology (my undergraduate degree). Wanting to help people was always my number-one goal.
Fast forward into my Social Work degree, I concentrated in Management, which led me to the Social Entrepreneurship space where design, iteration, and prototyping are immersed within trying to solve social problems. I took a course called "Social Entrepreneurship" that was a bootcamp for coming up with impactful ideas using Design Thinking; then my course in Creativity and Design for Entrepreneurship drew that process (Design Thinking) out in a semester-long project and I was hooked from there.
Using need finding to understand your users' biggest problems, then using the design process to develop and iterate upon many solutions until you find a true solution?
Amazing.
Including users' in the design process to develop something truly tailored to them? Using empathy and understanding, stepping away and staying open to new ideas and not being overly tied to one solution so that you can be open to innovation?
Inspiring.
Seeing the delight you can bring to people through design?
I love it.
Making an impact on people is why I do what I do, and designing an experience that can impact people in a positive way -- that delights and betters their well being and life -- is my passion.
